“Things I See…” series: Books for Little Ones
The “Things I See…” series, written by Julie Stiegemeyer and illustrated by Kathy Mitter and published by Concordia Publishing House, help toddlers participate in the church service through the things they see. Children ages 2-5 feel included in the worship service when they better understand what is happening. Take these board books along and teach your child to see Jesus at the center of it all.
“Things I See at Easter” will help little ones to learn about Jesus and what He did for us by dying on the cross and rising again on Easter. It also will help them learn to be polite during church.
“Things I See at Baptism” will help little ones understand what happens during Holy Baptism. It will help them understand who is in the center of it all.
“Things I See at Christmas” is a very good book, helping children understand what the meaning of Christmas really is!

“Martin Luther: A Man Who Changed the World”
By Paul L. Manier
Illustrated by Greg Copeland
“Martin Luther” is a very good book for a parent (or older sibling) to read to a child. It is full of history! I really liked the illustrations in this book, also.
I would recommend this book to anyone who interested in the history of our Lutheranism.
